
Maȟpíya Lúta travel basketball kicked off the season with an impressive showing this past weekend at the Pepsi Classic in Rapid City, South Dakota. Across multiple divisions, our student-athletes competed, bringing home a championship and several strong finishes.

Our 6th/7th grade boys team, made up primarily of 6th graders, powered their way through the bracket to claim the tournament championship.

The 6th grade girls bounced back from a close opening loss to claim the consolation championship.

All four teams, plus our 3rd grade girls, will be back in action this weekend at the Gateway to the Hills Tournament in Rapid City.
