The Maȟpíya Lúta B-Team wrapped up a strong season with a second-place finish at their end-of-season tournament. They opened with a dominant 77-25 win over Batesland, followed by a 46-21 victory against American Horse. In a tightly contested championship game, they battled hard but came up just short, falling to Wolf Creek 50-47.
The team, led by Coach Dawn Hernandez, showed tremendous growth throughout the season. Her leadership and dedication helped shape a group of young athletes into a cohesive, competitive team.
Players Peyton, Louden, Jordan, Cash, Blake, Jacob, Hoksila, and Kenton each made valuable contributions. Their teamwork, hustle, and heart were on full display all season long.

Though the championship slipped away, this group proved they are a team to watch. The future is bright for Maȟpíya Lúta basketball!
Wóphila tȟáŋka to Coach Hernandez and all who supported the team this season.
